Be the first player to empty your hand. Every card left in other players' hands becomes penalty points.
Each player gets cards from a normal 52-card deck, then one card starts the discard pile. On your turn, play one card that matches the top card's suit or rank. Any 8 is wild, so it can be played at any time and lets you choose the suit everyone must follow next. If you have no matching card and no 8, draw from the stock until you can play, or pass if the stock is empty.
The round ends as soon as a player has no cards. Number cards count their number, face cards count 10, aces count 1, and eights count 50 against the other players.
Save eights for tricky turns, watch the current suit, and try to play high cards before someone goes out. If another player keeps drawing, keeping that suit may make their next turn harder.
