Connect Four is a race to make a line of four matching discs. You are red, your opponent is yellow, and the first player to connect four spaces wins the round.
Players take turns choosing a column. When you pick one, your disc drops to the lowest empty spot in that column, just like a real vertical board. If a column is full, choose a different one. In computer mode, you move first and the computer answers after a short pause.
Make four of your discs touch in a straight line. The line can go across, up and down, or diagonally. The game also ends in a draw if every space fills up and nobody has four in a row.
The center columns are powerful because they help make lines in more directions. Watch for places where you can win on your next turn, and block your opponent when they have three in a row. Try building two threats at once so your opponent can only stop one of them.
